ITINERARY

Day 1         Bishkek
We will arrive at Bishkek Airport and have our transfer to the hotel, check-in, leisure time. After the lunch, we will have an enjoyable city tour by strolling in the Ala-Archa Gorge and return to Bishkek.
Dinner at a cafe. Overnight.

Day 2         Bishkek – Shamsi Gorge
At 09:00 meeting with the guide in the hotel’ lobby.
After the tasty breakfast, we will depart to the Shamsi Gorge (120 km from Bishkek). On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower. After the lunch in the yurts, we will hike in the fir forest while admiring the surrounding marvelous nature.
Dinner and overnight in the yurts.

Day 3         Shamsi Gorge – Shamsi Pass (6-hour horseback ride)
We will meet the equestrian guide in order to start the horse riding and depart to the Shamsi Pass (3570 m).
Dinner and overnight in the tents.

Day 4         Shamsi Pass – Jailoo (Kyrgyz pasture) – Sarala-Saz (6-hour horseback ride)
After the breakfast, we will continue the tour by crossing through the Shamsi Pass (3570 m) and descending to Kochkor-Shamsi Valley which is covered with the beautiful gentian and edelweiss. Later, we will have a hike to Sarala-Saz Jailoo, from where the fascinating view of Sandyk Mountains unfolds. Afterward, we will meet the local nomads and get acquainted with their lifestyle, the traditions and customs.
After the dinner, we will set up the tents close to the yurts of the nomads in Sarala-Saz.

Day 5         Sarala-Saz Valley – Karakol River – Iri-Suu Valley (4-hour horseback ride)
We will have a horse riding to Karakol River. Hence, we will pass through the wide valley of Sarala-Saz and descend to Iri-Suu Valley. In the evening, we will have hiking to the valley of Karakol River.
Dinner. Overnight in the tents.

Day 6         Iri Valley – Buchuk Pass – Sook Valley (5-6 hours of horseback riding)
After saddling the horses, we will head to this least populated country, while passing through the Buchuk Pass (3400 m). After the break for lunch, we will go down to the beautiful Sook Valley. Here, the high ridges are covered with wild onions, while the lower coasts are dotted with wildflowers. Also, we can see the eagles while their flying, as well as the incredible amount of marmots in this pasture. We will set up tents not far from the Sook River. Afterwards, we will have dinner and overnight.

Day 7         Sook Valley – Kum Bel Pass – Jumgal Valley – Kyzart Pass (6-7 hours of horseback ride)
After the breakfast, we will have a tour to the west valley of Kum Bel to reach to the homonymous pass (3600 m). Later, we will climb to the top (3656 m), from where the fascinating views of the northern peak unfold. After the lunch, we will descend to the Jumgal Valley and continue the tour to the Kyzart Pass (2664 m).
Rest in the tents.

Day 8         Kyzart Pass – Kyzyl-Kiya jailoo – Char Archa Pass - Char Archa Valley – Kilemche (5-hour horseback ride)
Today, we will pass the Kyzart Pass (2664 m) through Kyzyl-Kiya Jailoo - the huge, relatively flat grass-covered area. Then, we will continue through the Chaar Archa Pass (3061 m) to the Chaar Archa Valley. After the lunch, we will cross the river and walk through the trails between the hills near Kilemche Jailoo. These mountain chains are entirely covered with the grasses.
Dinner. Overnight in the tents.

Day 9         Jailoo Kilemche – Jalgyz-Karagai Pass – Song Kol (5-hour horseback ride)
After the breakfast, we will climb to Jalgyz-Karagai (3400 m) by admiring the magnificent view of the Kilemche Jailoo, as well as the rocky and fascinating pass. Song Kol Lake is still far away, but the panorama will change and get much bigger, eventually to fill the entire field of our vision. After the lunch in Jaman Echki, we will go to the east shore of the lake and reach the yurts in Batai Aral. Upon arrival at Song Kol Lake, we will meet the host family of Kyrgyz shepherds.
Dinner and overnight in shepherds’ yurts.

Day 10       Song Kol – Kyzyl-Oi – Suusamyr – Bishkek
Return to Bishkek after the breakfast. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11       Return flight
Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
