Different Uzbekistan

You will discover Uzbekistan as you have never seen it before! This program will give you the opportunity to explore the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country. Also, you will participate in the daily life of the local people, take part in the preparation of different national dishes, as well as taste the Uzbek wines. Besides, many other activities will take place during this well-organized trip.

ITINERARY

Day 1       Tashkent
Arrival at Tashkent Airport. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, leisure time.

Day 2       Tashkent
At 09:00 meeting with the guide in the hotel’s lobby.
After the breakfast, we will start a city tour in Tashkent by a visit to the Chorsu Bazaar, the Amir Timur Square, the Independence Square, the Museum of Applied Arts and the “Soviet” Metro.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3       Tashkent - Samarkand
We will depart to Samarkand by TGV Afrasiyab (the high-speed railway). Upon arrival, our transfer will greet us from the station to the hotel. Later, we will visit Afrasiab Museum. After which, we will enjoy tasting the Uzbek wines. Free time.

Day 4       Samarkand
The whole day will be dedicated to Sogdia - the capital of the famous historical region. Accompanied by the guide, we will start with a visit to the Registan Square, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque - dating back to the 15th century, as well as the Central Bazaar, which is located right next to the complex. The sightseeing also contains a visit to the Observatory of Ulugh Beg and the two Mausoleums of Shah-i-Zinda and Gur-e-Amir of the 15th century. Afterwards, we will visit the factory of silk carpets and the Valentina Romanenko Art Workshop.
After all, we will have a dinner with the host family and participate in the preparations and tasting of “Khanum”.

Day 5       Samarkand
We will continue our exploration in the city of “Thousand and One Nights”. Hence, we will discover the Al-Bukhari Complex and later we will head to Konigil Village in order to see the manufacturing process of the silk paper.
In the evening, we will return to Samarkand and have a dinner in an ancient caravanserai.

Day 6       Samarkand – Shakhrisabz
Early in the morning, we will depart to Shakhrisabz - Timur’s hometown. Upon arrival, we will have a stop in the village in order to taste the Uzbek bread “Non” and attendance during the production of the traditional Uzbek rugs “kilims”. Afterwards, we will visit the ruins of Ak Saray Palace, the Kok Gumbaz Mosque, as well as Hast-Imam Ensemble and Gumbazi-Seidan Mausoleum.
Overnight.

Day 7       Shakhrisabz – Bukhara
In the morning, we will have a transfer to Bukhara. The enjoyable city tour with the local guide will start with a stroll to several interesting places: as the Po-i-Kalon Architectural Ensemble, the Mir-i Arab Madrasah of the 17th century, the Magok-i-Attari Mosque, the Madrasas of Ulugh Beg and Abdulaziz Khan. Afterwards, we will discover the ancient Ark Citadel of the Lyab-i Hauz Ensemble and the Chor Minor Madrasah of the 19th century.

Day 8       Bukhara
The exciting tour's program will continue around Bukhara City. Whereas, we will visit the Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Palace, which was the residence of the Bukhara's Emir in the summer during the 19th-20th centuries. Afterwards, we will proceed to visit the Chor-Bakr memorial complex, which is a necropolis of the 16th century, as well as the Pilgrimage Site of Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari. Later, we will visit Samanid Mausoleum of the 9th century and the oldest mausoleum in Central Asia. Later, we will visit the Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum. Here, it is a water source which heals the skin diseases. Also, on this day, we will have a possibility to join a local family during the preparation and tasting of “Plov” – the national Uzbek dish.

Day 9       Bukhara - Khiva
Early in the morning, we will depart to Khiva. This road has been rebuilt, thus, it became longer. Along the way, we will enjoy having a stop at Amu Darya River in order to admire the splendid and picturesque surrounding landscape. After our tasty lunch, we will arrive at Khiva, check-in at the hotel.
In the evening, we will enjoy a tasty dinner and upon the possibility, we will attend the Lyazgi Show - the Khorezmian Folk Dance.
Overnight.

Day 10     Khiva - Urgench - Tashkent
Today, our discovery of Khiva will include many highlights. Hence, we will stroll to Itchan Kala - the fortress of the 17th century (the interior Khiva City), which is inscribed on the list of UNESCO's World Heritage Site and consists of sixteen madrasas. Our tour will continue to Kunya-Ark Citadel, the Mausoleums of Allauddin Khan and Mahmud Pakhlavan, the Minaret of Islam Khoja, the Mosques of Masjid-Al Haram and Djuma, the Allah Kuli Khan Madrasah, as well as the Tash-Khovli Palace.
In the evening, we will have our transfer to Urgench Airport in order to catch the flight to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and overnight.

Day 11     Return flight
Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
