ITINERARY

Day 1       Osh (Kyrgyzstan)
Arrival at Osh Airport. Transfer to the hotel, check-in, leisure time.

Day 2       Osh City Tour
At 09:00 meeting with the guide in the hotel’s lobby.
In the morning, we will start discovering Osh - the second largest city in the country and one of the oldest in Central Asia. According to a legend, this city was founded by King Solomon 3000 years ago. After, we will visit Takht-e-Sulaiman Mountain, which is situated just in the center and considered as the second Mecca for Muslims. Later, we will head to the National Historical and Archaeological Museum, and the colorful Osh Bazaar - one of the biggest markets in Central Asia, which is situated on the Great Silk Road.
Leisure time and overnight.

Day 3       Osh – Sary Mogul 
In the morning, we will depart to the Tajik border in order to reach the yurt camp in Sary Mogul (Kyrgyzstan), which is situated near to the border. Here, we will admire the unfolded beautiful panoramic views of Lenin Peak (7000 m).
Free time. Acclimatization over an altitude of 3000 m.

Day 4       Sary Mogul – Karakul – Muzkol – Caravanserai Nikolayevski – Ak-Baital – Murghab (Tajikistan)
In the morning, we will depart to Tajikistan by crossing the Kyzyl Art Pass and the "Valley of Death" just beside the Marco Polo sheep statue. On the way, we will explore the "No Man's Land", a mystical rock wall between the former Soviet Union and China. We will have our lunch break in the camp of Lake Karakul at 4300 m altitude.
Later, we will climb up to the top of Muzkol (6,233 m), which is not far from the lake. Afterwards, we will discover the ruins of the “Nikolayevski” Caravanserai, before crossing the Ak-Baital Pass at an altitude of 4655 m.
Upon arrival at Murghab, we will check-in at a guest house. Dinner and leisure time.

Day 5       Murghab – Shorbulak – Shakhty – Jarty Gumbez – Bash Gumbez Caravanserai – Alichur 
Our first day of discovering the Pamir Region will start, between the mountains, glacial valleys and the plateaus. We will have a tour to Murghab City while passing by Lenin's Statue and through the local bazaar. After which, we will stop at the Shorbulak Observatory in order to see the two majestic peaks of China: Muztagh Ata (7500 m) and Kongur Tagh (7700 m). Later, we will hike to the Shakhty where we will see the Neolithic Cave's paintings (8000-5000 BC). If we are lucky, we will also be awarded a view of the famous Marco Polo - the wild sheep of Pamir from the distance of 500-600 meters. Afterwards, we will arrive at the hot springs of Jarty Gumbez. Here, the surrounding nature is extremely beautiful, especially in June and July. We will have a picnic by the riverside and a stroll along the banks which are covered with wildflowers. Afterwards, we will discover the Bash Gumbez Caravanserai.
In the evening, we will arrive at Alichur Town (3900 m). Overnight at a guest house or in the yurts.

Day 6       Alichur - Lake Bulunkul – Ratm Fortress – Langar – Yamg
This day will start with a hiking trip around the Bulunkul Lake (3800 m) and proceed by arriving at the border of Afghanistan. Here, we will enjoy an open-air picnic. After passing the border control, we will head for Ratm Fortress, all along the Panj River (five) which is situated between the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border. In the afternoon, we will visit the ruins of the Ratm Fortress. After rising up for thirty minutes, we will discover the petroglyphs of Langar Village. The last stop will be at the old mill before leaving for Yamg Village, where we will stay at a guest house.
Leisure time.

Day 7       Yamg – Museum of Muborak-Kadami – Yamchun – Eshkashem – Khorugh
Before heading to the Yamchun Fortress, we will discover the Museum of Sufi Muborak-Kadami Vakhani - the sage who was also a musician, singer-songwriter, astronomer and philosopher, as well he was considered as the father of the village. His mausoleum on the top of a hill is seen clearly from the center of the village. Afterwards, we will arrive at the Yamchun Fortress, built in the 3rd century BC. Later, we will depart to the Auj Hot thermal baths, a sacred place which is famous for curing certain diseases. Also here, we will have an opportunity to admire the breathtaking view of the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan. At noon, our lunch break will be at the springs in Wakhan Valley. Upon arrival at Eshkashem, we will discover the shrine of Hazrat Ali and the Kah-Kaha Fortress. A village with the same name is located on the other side of the border. In the evening, we will arrive at Khorugh - the center of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
After checking-in at the hotel, we will have a dinner and leisure time.

Day 8        Qal’ai Khumb – Nurek – Dushanbe
Our hiking today will be on the medium level of difficulty in the Bartang Valley. Whereas, we will enjoy discovering the mountain lake and a picnic in this magnificent place. In the afternoon, we will continue to the westward in order to reach the Qal’ai Khumb Village.
Check-in at the hostelry. In the evening, barbecue and leisure time.

Day 9        Kalaikhum – Nourek – Douchanbé
We will have a long drive to Tajik capital with several interesting stops. Before our arrival, we will discover the beautiful lake reservoir of Nurek, as well as taste the grilled fish.
In the evening, we will arrive in Dushanbe, check-in at the hotel, leisure time.

Day 10      Dushanbe City Tour
We will visit the city center and pass beside the impressive Monument of Ismail I - the founder of the Samanid dynasty (874-999), before heading to the green Rudaki Park and Tajikistan’s National Museum. Later, we will go to the Green Market, where we can find all types of Tajik spices.
Farewell dinner, preparations for departure.

Day 11       Return flight
Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
